According to one survey, nearly half of teens between the ages of 11 to 14 years old are dating. Alarmingly, the survey also found significant levels of abuse in these relationships. The good news is that dating - even at a young age - can be a positive, healthy behaviour that adds to kids' sense of competence and self-esteem. Parents can help by teaching their kids what normal, healthy dating involves.
